Siliguri’s Pradhan Nagar police rescue missing 14-year old boy

A 14-year old boy found by special team of Siliguri’s Pradhan Nagar police station, who ran away from his home was successfully rescued from Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir.

Amid the investigation, the minor’s mother updated the police that her son had called from Baramulla and informed them. The boy went missing on May 31. The team left Siliguri for Jammu and Kashmir on June 21 and reached Baramulla after contacting Naugaon Police in Srinagar. Then on July 05 the minor was finally rescued and returned to Siliguri by the help of the police team.

On the other hand, the minor said that he left the house after being scolded by his mother. Then he boarded the train from NJP and went to meet his father . But later than he met with a stranger who took him to Gulshan Nagar in Srinagar on the pretext of giving him a job. A few days later, he went to work in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir with the local youths.

After a complaint was lodged on behalf of the minor’s family, the boy was rescued from Jammu and Kashmir.
