Samsung India has announced the top 10 finalists for its prestigious Solve for Tomorrow 2024 programme, showcasing young talent from some of India’s remotest regions. These 22 students, hailing from areas such as Golaghat in Assam, Udupi in Karnataka, and Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh, are set to present their innovations to a distinguished jury of Samsung and industry leaders in the upcoming grand finale.
The third edition of the programme focuses on key themes like Community and Inclusion and Environment and Sustainability, with solutions targeting issues such as arsenic pollution, digital literacy, and water conservation.
Each team received mentorship from Samsung experts and IIT Delhi’s Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), along with grants to develop their prototypes.The winning teams stand a chance to receive up to ₹50 lakh in grants, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to fostering innovation and empowering the next generation of problem-solvers.
