Samsung India is proud to announce the expansion of its flagship education initiative, ‘Galaxy Empowered,’ to Bhutan’s teaching community. Building on its successful launch in India in December 2024, the programme offers immersive workshops that equip teachers, principals, and administrators with advanced Galaxy devices and AI-driven educational tools to transform classroom learning.
The recent immersion programme at Samsung’s Executive Business Centre in Gurugram welcomed educators from multiple Bhutanese districts including Samtse, Gelephu, Punakha, and Pema Gatshel. Participants engaged hands-on with Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones, tablets, flipboards, and interactive whiteboards, gaining practical insights to modernize their teaching methodologies. This initiative is conducted in partnership with Bhutan’s Ministry of Education and Skills Development, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to fostering future-ready classrooms.
The ‘Galaxy Empowered’ programme presents a significant growth opportunity. Sikkim’s increasing focus on digital education creates a strong demand for Samsung’s innovative learning solutions, positioning the company as a key contributor to the state’s educational modernization and technology adoption. Samsung remains committed to empowering educators across South Asia, aiming to certify 20,000 teachers in India alone by 2025, thereby strengthening its leadership in the education technology sector.
