Samsung Innovation Campus successfully trained 3,000 less-privileged students across India

Samsung has trained 3,000 less-privileged students in future tech domains like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data, and Coding & Programming in eight Indian cities under its flagship program, Samsung Innovation Campus. The initiative aims to make students job-ready and help them secure relevant placements, demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to empowering India’s youth and strengthening Digital India. The Electronics Sectors Skills Council of India (ESSCI) has successfully implemented the Samsung Innovation Campus programme, with the final batch of 120 students from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow.

The final batch of 120 students of Samsung Innovation Campus are from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow. Around a third of the 3,000 students trained under the program are from Uttar Pradesh, who will now participate in job fairs and begin their real-world journey.

 Students were honored and awarded certificates at a ceremony in Lucknow, attended by Dr. Shishir Kumar, Dean of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Dr. Abhilasha Gaur, COO (officiating CEO) ESSCI, Mr. Hyun Kim, Corporate Vice President, Samsung Southwest Asia and Mr. Shubham Mukherjee, Head CSR, Samsung SWA. Mr. Hyun Kim, Corporate Vice President, Samsung Southwest Asia said “We are elated to have witnessed such talent and potential in these students who are now ready and skilled to digitally transform the world around us.”
