Samsung India launches ‘Solve For Tomorrow 2025’ competition with over INR 1 crore in grants

Samsung India has launched the fourth edition of its flagship CSR initiative, Solve for Tomorrow 2025, aimed at empowering youth aged 14-22 to tackle real-world problems using technology. The initiative will offer over ₹1 crore in grants, with the top four teams receiving ₹1 crore for incubation at IIT Delhi. Additionally, the top 20 and top 40 teams will receive ₹20 lakh and ₹8 lakh respectively, along with latest Samsung gadgets. This year’s programme introduces global themes including Social Change through Sports, Tech for Education and Better Futures, and Environmental Sustainability via Technology. The competition runs for six months, with applications open until June 30, 2025.

In Aizawl, the tech-savvy youth and student community have welcomed the initiative, viewing it as a powerful platform to channel their creativity into impactful solutions. With Mizoram’s growing startup culture and focus on sustainable development, Aizawl market observers believe the contest will nurture homegrown innovations, especially in environmental and health-tech sectors, and offer visibility to local talent on a national stage.

Samsung, in partnership with IIT Delhi and the Ministry of Electronics & IT, will provide 82,000 hours of training, prototyping opportunities, and mentorship. Finalists will gain exposure to Samsung’s R&D hubs and compete for awards in a national grand finale.
