On Wednesday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced about launching new scheme for Assam youths for financial support, from the government.
According to the sources, the scheme is about to launch under ‘Mukhya Mantri Atmanirbhar Asom’. With it, Assam youths will be getting Rs. 2 lakhs for their self-employment which is to be started from September 23-24, 2023.
Sarma announced through a video conferencing held in conference hall of Assam House in New Delhi along with other senior officials.
