ARIS – the Association of Robotic & Innovative Surgeons is India’s Own First Robotic Surgeon’s Association. It is probably the first-ever international healthcare professional association to be headquartered in Guwahati. Guwahati and the north-east region will be on the world map as a healthcare destination. An historic moment as a European Association has expressed interest to collaborate, as we will agree that it is always been the other way round.
Addressing the Media and more than 200 delegates Shri Chandra Mohan Patowary, Honourable Minister congratulated the founding members. He also said that they acknowledge the efforts and thank the founding members to have considered launching the society in Guwahati. There are many initiatives taken by the Assam Government to improve Healthcare Infrastructure and we are confident that Guwahati will be in the top 10 healthcare tourism destination in the country.
The Association’s first-ever conference will be held today and tomorrow at Radisson Blu Guwahati to commemorate the launch of the society. Incidentally this is the first Indian and global society coming from the North East India having its headquarter at Guwahati.
