RIL and Oberoi to co-manage three iconic hospitality projects

Reliance Industries will co-operate on three hospitality projects with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts (Oberoi), the company announced on Thursday. These include the upcoming Anant Vilas Hotel at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, Stoke Park in the UK, and another planned project in Gujarat.

As part of the luxury ‘Villas’ portfolio managed by Oberoi, Mumbai Anant Vilas is envisioned as the first metro-centric property located in the Bandra Kurla complex which is identified as a bustling business district.

The said location is becoming a mixed-use destination with business, hospitality, shopping, F&B, arts and culture, educational and residential uses.

“Anant Vilas seeks to enhance the footprint of hotels in the business district with an iconic experience for discerning visitors,” the company said in a joint release.

A subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, UK will help Stoke Park Limited upgrade the Oberoi facilities to become an iconic world-class destination and provide an unparalleled experience for guests.

Stoke Park has sporting and leisure facilities including a hotel, sports facilities and one of the highest-rated golf courses in Europe, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.

“Plans are being prepared to include a comprehensive upgrade to Stoke Park, including golf and other sports facilities,” the Ambani-owned company added.
To increase tourism potential in the state of Gujarat, an unnamed project currently under implementation, will be co-run by RIL and Oberoi Group.
