Rahul Gandhi Criticizes India’s Manufacturing Dependence on China

During his visit to the United States, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed the issue of unemployment, criticizing India’s reliance on China for manufacturing. Speaking at an event in Dallas, he emphasized the need for India to focus on production to create jobs, stating that the country has “given up on the idea of production and handed it to China.”

Gandhi also highlighted the lack of respect for skilled workers in India and the disconnect between the education system and business needs. He attributed political polarization in India, the US, and Europe to the neglect of production sectors. His remarks come amid ongoing debates about strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities.
