Calling PT Usha an “inspiration for every Indian”, PM Modi said, “Her achievements in sports activities are widely recognized but her work in mentoring budding sportspersons over the past few years is equally commendable. Congratulations to her for being nominated to the Rajya Sabha.”
PM Modi congratulated V Vijayendra Prasad who has been associated with the creative world for decades.
“His works reflect the great heritage of India and have made a mark globally,” PM Modi said.
The chief minister said Virendra Heggade would “enrich the parliamentary proceedings”.
