As part of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s aim to expand professional options for India’s youngsters under the Skill India Mission, the PMNAM will be hosted on June 12, 2023, in more than 200 districts nationally. Local companies and organizations have been encouraged to take part in the mela in order to offer kids in the area useful apprenticeship training possibilities.
Through this network, businesses may get in touch with potential apprentices and select from their qualifications, improving the prospects for young people to find employment.This apprenticeship mela is open to Class 5 to Class 12 pass-outs, ITI certificate holders, Diploma holders, or graduates. Candidates must bring three copies of their resume, three copies of all marksheets and certificates, photo ID, and three passport-size photographs to the respective venues. The locations are also available on the apprenticeship mela portal.
Through this mela, candidates can earn NCVET-recognized certifications, improving their employability rate.Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship,said,”to harness the demographic dividend of the country, it is imperative that we have the most effective strategies for a smooth transition from education to livelihood, and apprenticeship training is an integral part PM vision.”
