PM Modi inaugurates Bundelkhand Expressway in UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 296-km-long Bundelkhand Expressway, which passes through seven districts of Uttar Pradesh and was built at a cost of around Rs 14,850 crore.

CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath welcomed Modi at the inauguration ceremony at Kaitheri village in Orai tehsil of Jalaun district on Sunday.

On February 29, 2020, Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of the expressway and it was completed in about 28 months.

It stretches from NH-35 at Gonda village near Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot district to Kudrail village in Etawah district, where it joins the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
