‘Planned murder, complete failure’, Says BJP attacks Trinamool govt over singer KK’s death

A day after the West Bengal authorities accorded state honours to late singer KK who died in Kolkata after a show on May 31, the BJP has attacked the ruling All India Trinamool Congress over the death.

While BJP MP Dilip Ghosh known as it a ‘murder’, BJP Bengal chief Sukanta Majumdar said it used to be a ‘total administrative failure’. Ghosh even accused the TMC-led students’ union which organised the exhibit of forcing the singer to operate in spite of being unwell.

Meanwhile, the singer’s supervisor Hitesh Bhatt has stated the singer was fantastic at some stage in the concert and fell ill solely afterwards. As per the autopsy, he suffered a large heart attack and did now not die due to unnatural causes.

Singer KK died on Tuesday night reportedly of a big heart attack, shortly after performing at a concert in Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata. Hours after his death, eyewitnesses claimed that the corridor used to be packed past its capacity, the air-conditioning used to be no longer working and the singer had complained of heat and humidity at some point of the show.

“Let me say this again, this is nothing but a murderjust as Amit Shah stated — if you go to Bengal, you will die! The individual lost his life after coming to Bengal for no useThis was once not a university programme but a TMC birthday celebration programme They solely prepared it, gathered the crowd and made him sing forcibly He wasn’t feeling properly … He wanted to depart but he wasn’t allowed this is nothing but a planned murderit’s a murderAnd now in order to counter the guilt, he used to be accorded kingdom honoursOur CM has the habit of hijacking dead our bodies and as a result she did that Even I demand a probethis must be investigated.”

TMC RESPONDS

Responding to the BJP’s statements, Kolkata mayor Firhad Hakim of the TMC stated the BJP is a birthday party of vultures that looks for “dead bodies to indulge in politics”.

“They only indulge in politics of killing. A character can fall ailing – it is unlucky and extremely tragic that such a character has lost his life. To indulge in politics over such a death is abominable. BJP is like a vulture, they look for deaths to use for politics. We want to stand through the family, CM gave him state honours,” he said.

“I don’t think there was any fault at the venue,” he added.
