A report came into sources; over 100 people have been suffering from food poisoning after consuming Prasad ahead of puja in Lakhimpur district, Assam.
An official report stated, “They consumed prasad at a namghar (a place of worship) after a programme, following which they complained of loose motion, vomiting and stomach ache.”
To reports, total number of 110 people fell ill and is being treated at the local civil hospital at Dhakuakhana, while one has been referred to Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital for advanced care.
