PANDEMIC vs ECONOMY :Domestic petrol prices increased

Domestic petrol prices were increased by 9-11 paise per litre
in the metros on Friday whereas diesel rates were left
unchanged at existing levels. In Delhi, the price of petrol
was raised to ₹ 81.94 from ₹ 81.83 per litre with effect from
6 am on August 28, while that of diesel was retained at ₹
73.56 per litre, according to notifications from state-run
Indian Oil Corporation. In Mumbai, petrol price was revised
to Rs 81.94 per litre, from ₹ 88.48, while diesel rate was
maintained at ₹ 80.11 per litre.

This pandemic has been hitting hard on the economy leading to the price of the goods and essentials getting increased every single day.
