The media committee of the opposition bloc INDIA has released the names of 14 television anchors of several platforms whose shows are to be boycotted. The committee has decided to not send their representatives on debates show organised by them on such channels or platforms.
The decision was compared to emergency in the times of Indira Gandhi rule by a BJP member Hardeep Puri(Union Minister). Different views were given by BJP members against the decision. On the other hand opposition bloc cited different reasons for boycotting the TV anchors.
Pawan Khera, congress spokesperson justifies the decision by stating that these platforms or channels are have set up a nafrat ka bajaar.
