India’s Energy Maharatna ONGC has provided support to Assam Energy Institute, aiming to develop world-class personnel in petroleum technology and the energy sector. This Assam centre of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is co-promoted by ONGC as an energy domain- specific institute.
Shri Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Labour and Employment, inaugurated the newly-constructed Academic Block, Boys’ Hostel, and Girls’ Hostel at Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar, with Shri Arun Kumar Singh as Guest of Honour. In his speech, Shri Teli remarked, “I would also like to acknowledge the significant contribution and vision of ONGC towards education, which is truly commendable.”
