India’s Energy Maharatna ONGC has provided support to Assam Energy Institute, aiming to develop world-class personnel in petroleum technology and the energy sector. This Assam centre of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is co-promoted by ONGC as an energy domain- specific institute.
Shri Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Labour and Employment, inaugurated the newly-constructed Academic Block, Boys’ Hostel, and Girls’ Hostel at Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar, with Shri Arun Kumar Singh as Guest of Honour. In his speech, Shri Teli remarked, “I would also like to acknowledge the significant contribution and vision of ONGC towards education, which is truly commendable.”
Assam Energy Institute has opened new facilities, marking a significant step towards its mission of fostering skilled energy professionals who will significantly influence the future of the energy industry. ONGC’s commitment to academic growth and energy sector excellence is reflected in this initiative, reaffirming its position as a leading entity in the industry. Assam Energy Institute, a hub of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, focuses on developing young energy professionals, especially in the hydrocarbon sector.Shri Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman & CEO, ONGC, said, “We are happy to support for such a great cause.
