‘One Assam Yatra’ beings for 40 days in Assam

Assam Jatiya Parishad(AJP) standing against the politics of polarisation in the State has started its ‘One Assam Yatra’ in the state, Assam.

AJP president Lurinjyoti Gogoi said, “The situation today warrants resistance to the divisive politics of the BJP and other parties such as the All India United Democratic Front. Our yatra is aimed at repairing the social fabric their divisive politics has ripped apart.”

According to the sources, leaders and supporters will participate in the yatra, which is to be held for 40 days. The yatra begins from western Assam’s Dhubri town to Sadiya on the State’s eastern tip.
