NSDC International (NSDCI), a subsidiary of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has teamed up with Australia’s prestigious Deakin University to introduce the Global Job Readiness Program (GJRP) on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) platform. This initiative aims to equip Indian youth with industry-relevant skills necessary to thrive in the global job market.
The GJRP, available on the SIDH platform, offers learners a user-friendly interface to access high-quality education conveniently. Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDC International, highlighted the importance of adapting to the evolving job landscape, emphasizing the program’s role in preparing students for flexible career paths and entrepreneurship opportunities.The program, offered at Foundation and Intermediate proficiency levels, covers essential soft skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, innovation, digital literacy, and financial literacy. Participants undergo live training sessions and utilize various learning tools, including videos and flip cards, to enhance their skills.
Upon completion, students receive digital badges and certifications, empowering them to navigate the evolving employment landscape confidently.
