The process of filing nominations for the three Rajya Sabha seats in Odisha began on Tuesday with the state assembly secretariat issuing the notification for the elections to be held on June 10.
The terms of three Rajya Sabha MPs from Odisha – Nekkanti Bhaskar Rao, Prasanna Acharya and Sasmeet Patra will expire on July 1 and are set to be polled before their terms expire.
According to the notification, polling will be held on June 10 from 9 am to 4 pm and the counting of votes will be held at 5 pm on the same day.
Last date for submission of nomination is 31 May and date of withdrawal is 3 June. The selection process will be completed on June 13, 2022.
