Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile manufacturer, has achieved the 50K sales mark for its bestselling EV, the Nexon EV. Launched in 2020, the EV revolutionized the Indian market by providing a first-hand EV experience and enabling India’s journey to electrified mobility. The EV has broken barriers and enabled India’s journey to electrified mobility.
The Nexon EV is sold in over 500 cities in India and has driven over 900 million km, showcasing the confidence of the 50K strong community. On average, owners drive 6.3 million km per month on intercity and outstation trips. India’s growing charging infrastructure, with over 6,000 stations, has boosted public adoption of EVs, with over 1500% growth between FY21 and FY23.
Nexon EV breaks 25 records, covering ‘Fastest’ Kashmir to Kanyakumari drive in 95 minutes, achieving 300+km range.
