Airtel rolls out Made-in-India DTH Set Top Boxes for Customers

Airtel Digital TV, the DTH arm of Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”) today said that it has introduced Made-in-India High Definition Set Top Boxes for customers. The Set Top Boxes are being manufactured in Noida, Uttar Pradesh by Skyworth Electronics. Airtel plans to fully transition to Made-in-India Set Top Boxes, including the high-end Airtel Xstream 4K Android TV Box, by the end of 2021 and contribute local manufacturing and Government of India’s Atmanirbhar vision. Chandrayaan-2 completes over 9,000 orbits around moon since launch in 2019, ISRO says

India’s Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft has completed more than 9,000 orbits around the Moon, and imaging and scientific instruments onboard have been providing excellent data, officials said on Monday. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is holding a two-day Lunar Science Workshop 2021, which began on Monday, to commemorate the completion of two years of operation of Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft around the lunar orbit. The Supreme Court on Thursday pulled up advocate M.L. Sharma for making Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah as respondents in his petition seeking a court-monitored SIT probe into the Pegasus snooping issue.
