The S&P BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 indexes fell for fourth day in a row to close at lowest level in two weeks on Tuesday weighed down by weakness in HDFC, Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank and Maruti Suzuki. France’s ADP Buys 49% Of GMR Airports For $1.45 Billion

French airports operator ADP, which operates Paris airports Roissy and Orly, has bought a 49 per cent stake in GMR Airports for 1.34 billion euros ($1.45 billion), ADP said on Thursday. GMR Airports has a portfolio of seven airports in three countries: India, the Philippines and Greece. ADP said the Delhi and Hyderabad airports in India and the Mactan-Cebu airport in the Philippines together handled a total of 102 million passengers in 2019.The four other airports, which had 22 million passengers in 2019, are either under development (Goa and Heraklion) or were recently won by GMR after a bidding process…

SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar on Saturday said banks will "have to pay the price" in case any telecom firm files for bankruptcy, a day after the Supreme Court made it clear that telecom companies will have to pay the Rs 1.47 lakh crore in past dues. Wholesale inflation worsened to 3.1 per cent in January from 2.59 per cent in the previous month, government data showed on Friday.
