West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced to play alone for this year, 2024 Lok sabha election. Further she clarified about not discussion done with the Congress party about sharing seats. "I have consistently mentioned that we will contest independently in Bengal. I am not bothered about the national scenario; however, as a secular party, we will alone defeat BJP,” statement by Mamata Banerjee.

Assam CM shares footage of Jodo yatra provoking citizens

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi along with his party members are on 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' which has begun from Northeast of India, Manipur. The members has yesterday began their yatra in Guwahati, Assam following tension in the city, traffic rules were modified for the day. According to the reports, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has filed a case against Rahul Gandhi for allegedly provoking the citizens during the yatra.
