Tripura police nab 16 Rohingya nationals at inter state bus terminus

In a late-night operation on Thursday, Tripura Police apprehended sixteen Rohingya nationals at the Dharmanagar Inter State Bus Terminus in North District, which borders Assam and Mizoram. The group, comprising eleven adults and five minors, was detained based on a tip-off received by the police.The individuals have been identified as Mustafa Khatrou (60), Tauaba (35), Fatima Khatun (25), Rahana Begum (38), Mohammad Sabi (30), Mohammad Ibrahim (39), Fauzul Islam (22), Mohammad Sultan (28), Noor Mohammad (68), Abdul Malik (23), and Mohammad Hasan (33). HIV infection rises in Tripura, TSACS views daily registered cases

Tripura HIV positive cases among students are alarming highest in number due to injectable drugs. To reports, 220 schools and 24 colleges students are identified using the drug. Tripura State Aids Control Society has overviewed the number of cases in the state, Tripura. Daily five to seven HIV cases are detected through targeted tests that are carried out. To the reports, 5,674 individuals are currently having HIV positive including 4,570 males, 1,103 females, and one transgender person.

Surveys for several railway projects in Tripura including the second Indo-Bangla railway link through the Belonia sub-division of the South Tripura district have been completed by the officials.
