The Council of Churches in Mizoram (CCM) was officially launched on October 27, marking the first initiative of its kind in the state’s 130-year Christian history since its introduction in 1894. Formed by eight major churches, including the Mizoram Presbyterian Church (MPC), Baptist Church of Mizoram (BCM), and the Evangelical Church of Maraland, the council aims to promote unity and harmony among various Christian denominations in Mizoram.
