India on Wednesday successfully tested short-range, surface to surface-guided ballistic missile ‘Pralay' off the Odisha coast,  known from the DRDO sources. The missile is  developed by the Defence Research Development Organisation which is based on Prithvi Defence Vehicle from the Indian ballistic missile programme.
