The Taliban barred beardless civil servants from entering their offices in Afghanistan on Monday. Russian shelling hits high-rise building in Kiev

Russian shelling hit a 10-storey apartment building in Kiev, leaving one person injured, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said. According to the State Emergency Service, fire erupted on the first through the fifth floors of the building located in the capital city’s the Podil neighbourhood. World Bank approves USD 723 million support for Ukraine

The World Bank approved a USD 723 million packages of loans and grants for Ukraine, providing government budget support amid the all-out conflict with Russia.
