Electric truck maker Nikola to lay off 270 employees

US-based electric truck maker Nikola has announced it will lay off 270 employees, or about 23 percent of its workforce, and limit its electric truck efforts in North America to conserve cash. India’s Reliance to raise up to $2 billion to fund expansion, Bloomberg reports

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries is in talks with foreign exchange lenders to raise up to $2 billion in funds for the expansion of the oil-to-telecom firm, a report said on Thursday. Reliance plans to use India's dedicated external commercial lending route to secure loans, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.
