Petrol and diesel prices in India hiked again on Sunday, witnessing a trend of record highs in fuel prices. In Delhi, petrol was hiked by 29 paise and diesel by 27 paise. With this, a litre of petrol now costs Rs 97.22 in the national capital and diesel is retailing at Rs 87.97 per litre. With the latest revision by the state-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMC), the fuel rates have hiked for the 28th time since May 4.
