Ujjain collector tells no vaccine, no salary to the govt staff

In a bid to achieve the target of 100 per cent vaccination against COVID-19, on Tuesday , the Ujjain collector Ashish Singh issued an order to this effect tells government staff in Madhya Pradesh that they will not get their salaries from next month until they are not vaccinated. Supreme Court reserved its decision on the ex-gratia payment of Rs 4 lakh to Covid’s kin

The Supreme Court on Monday deferred its decision on the petitions seeking orders that ex-gratia compensation of Rs 4 lakh be provided to the relatives of COVID-19 victims. For about two hours, a special vacation bench consisting of Justices Ashok Bhushan and M R Shah heard Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, senior counsel S B Upadhyay, and other lawyers.
