Swachh Survekshan 2020: Guwahati’s Rank Degraded To 356Although Assam ranked first which has cities with population less than 1lakh as the cleanest city in Swachh Survekshan 2020 survey results declared on Thursday, Guwahati’s rank gone down to 356. Guwahati which secured 303 position in 2019 secured 356 position in 2020. However, the other cities in the state have secured positions in different categories. Ministry of Food Processing Industries sanctions 16 new food processing projects in Assam

Ministry of Food Processing Industries has sanctioned 16 new food processing /preservation and infrastructure projects with a total cost of Rs.230 crore with subsidy commitment of Rs.85 crore for Assam in the last one year.
