Alia Bhatt is all set to make her Hollywood debut. A few months after posting Heart of Stone, the actress updated her fans that she is going to shoot for her first Hollywood film. The actress posted a sun-kissed picture while walking down the street. Alia’s excitement for the project was evident from the caption. The actress said she is nervous about it and feels like a newbie.“And off I go to shoot my first ever Hollywood film!!!! Feel like a newcomer all over again – sooooo nervous!!!! Wish me luckkkkkkk (sic),” she wrote on Instagram.
Alia’s sister-in-law and Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani was once among the first to react to the photo. “We love you,’ she wrote. Alia’s mom and actress Soni Razdan too wished her as she embarks on a new adventure. “Wishing you all the success in the complete world,” she commented on the post. Alia’s sister Pooja Bhatt too had a distinctive message for her. “Life is now making feasible what was really inevitable! The WORLD is your playground! And you will dazzle even more! So proud!” she said.
Actors Arjun Kapoor, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Shivani Dandekar and renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra also reacted to the post.
The film follows the story of Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot), a genius operative, the only woman standing between her powerful, global, peacekeeping corporation and the loss of its most valuable – and dangerous – asset.
Heart of Stone is directed by Tom Harper. It was written by way of Greg Rucka and Alison Schroeder. Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger, Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn, and Pilot Wave’s Gal Gadot and Jaron Versano are producing the film.
The film will be released worldwide on Netflix this spring.
