Nestlé India brews excitement with NESPRESSO launch, promises premium coffee experience

Nestlé India has announced its plans to introduce the highly anticipated NESPRESSO, the renowned pioneer in premium coffee, to the Indian market by the end of 2024. The launch will mark the availability of NESPRESSO’s exclusive coffees and machines, catering to both domestic and professional consumers with its original and professional systems.

The inaugural NESPRESSO boutique is slated to open its doors in Delhi, with subsequent expansions into other major cities across the country. In addition to physical outlets, NESPRESSO products will be made accessible online through various e-commerce platforms, widening its reach to coffee enthusiasts nationwide.Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India, expressed his enthusiasm for the impending launch, stating, “NESPRESSO’s arrival in India will unlock new experiences and offer extraordinary coffees to consumers, connoisseurs, and aficionados alike.”Guillaume Le Cunff, CEO of Nestlé NESPRESSO S.A., echoed Narayanan’s sentiments, emphasizing NESPRESSO’s commitment to sustainability and its dedication to elevating the coffee experience globally.

NESPRESSO’s emphasis on quality extends to its sourcing practices, with over 93% of its coffee being sustainably sourced through the NESPRESSO AAA Sustainable Quality™ Program. This initiative, established in collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance, supports over 150,000 coffee farmers worldwide, including approximately 2,000 in India.With its impending launch, NESPRESSO aims to cater to India’s growing coffee market, fueled by a burgeoning young population and a rising trend of in-home coffee consumption. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, NESPRESSO currently operates in over 90 markets globally, boasting a network of more than 800 boutiques across approximately 500 cities.
