A tribal girl, 14, was discovered putting from a tree in Jharkhand’s Dumka early Friday morning via the locals. The police have surpassed over her physique to the family after an autopsy.
The lady was once allegedly raped and murdered, Deputy Inspector General of Police Sudarshan Mandal informed India Today TV.
The accused, Arman Ansari, has been arrested.
According to sources, the girl used to live with her aunt in Dumka, where she had an affair with Ansari. She was once pregnant, they added. When she asked Ansari to marry her, he killed her, sources said.
Police are ready for post-mortem documents to confirm whether she was killed first and hanged from the tree to commit suicide.
“We have requested the administration to look into the case thoroughly. If not, the responsibility for the investigation will be given to CBI or NIA. If there is no justice, we will go to villages and form women’s organizations. We will guard our women,” BJP leader Louis Marandi told India Today TV.
