Meeting held to uplift Muslim communities socially, politically in Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during a meeting with the senior officials of the state has decided to conduct socio-economic survey of five Muslim indigenous communities in the state, Assam.

According to the sources, the decision was taken by the state government to take measures for the socio-political, educational upliftment of the minority communities in the state.

Assam CM taking to the social media handle ‘X’ said, “In a meeting held at Janata Bhawan, HCM Dr @himantabiswa directed the officials concerned to carry out a socio-economic assessment of Assam’s Indigenous Muslim communities (Goria, Moria, Deshi, Syed & Jolha).”
