Meeting held on security safety of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital

The hospital authorities are concerned about the security measures of the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. They approached the Siliguri Police Commissionerate and the Health Department several times but it was totally unfruitful. In this situation, the hospital authorities are facing a problem with the security system of the hospital. On Monday, the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital Patient Welfare Association held a meeting.

Mayor of Siliguri and Chairman of Patient Welfare Association Gautam Dev, MLA of Matigara Naxalbari Anandamoy Barman, Hospital Superintendent Sanjay Mallick, Principal Indrajit Saha, Dean Sandeep Sengupta and other department heads were present in the meeting. However, despite the meeting of the association, any decision couldn’t be taken for the development of the hospital, according to the sources of the meeting. However, in the meeting, more emphasis was placed on the safety and security of the hospital and the patients undergoing treatment in the hospital.
