Manish Sisodia sent to judicial custody till April 5

Manish Sisodia, a former deputy chief minister of Delhi, was taken into detention on March 22 and will remain there until April 5 at the Rouse Avenue Court’s direction. In relation to a money laundering case involving suspected irregularities in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had hauled Sisodia to the city court at the conclusion of his remand time. In connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case, Sisodia is also being investigated by the CBI. He has been detained by the CBI due to allegations of corruption in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
