Manipur violence hit: Students to be given options to continue studies

Due to the Manipur violence, many students’ studies have been affected since the violence got started in the state. The Supreme Court, a bench of Chief Justices have announced of providing three options to the students at central Universities of Assam and Meghalaya.

As per reports, the three options includes students to either get admission to Assam University in Silchar or North Eastern Hill University in Shillong or attend online classes in viewing the situation of the state, Manipur the court has taken the decision.

The court has asked the students to contact the nodal officer appointed by the Registrar of Manipur University for the admission purpose and if there is any student not willing to follow any of the options above then they must submit their grievance before the Justice Gita Mittal Committee.

Additionally, 284 students’ studies have been affected due the violence hit in the state, Manipur.
