cautioning against any attempts to reintroduce insurgency in the state. Speaking at the Jirania Motor Stand Complex event in the West district, CM Saha said, “Strict action will be taken against those aiding insurgency. We have all the necessary information, and no one will be spared. It took immense effort to establish peace, and we aim for comprehensive development.”
Highlighting the state’s progress, CM Saha criticized the previous communist rule, which he claimed brought anarchy. He emphasized Tripura’s transformation into one of the North East’s best-performing states, focusing on socio-economic upliftment and women’s welfare.
During the event, CM Saha laid foundation stones for five transport projects: Jirania, Jolaibari, and Melaghar Motor Stands; District Transport Offices in Teliamura and Shantirbazar. He also virtually inaugurated the Integrated Parking Complex at Puran Bazar, Khowai District. The projects are valued at ₹40.58 crore. CM Saha credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Act East Policy for Tripura’s development. “Today, Tripura is free from extremism,” he noted, highlighting peace agreements signed in the region under the PM’s leadership.
