Liquor selling granted at UP, opposition accuses BJP for the decision

During a Cabinet meeting, presided by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has cleared the allowance for 2024-25 liquor sales at airports, metro and railway stations, and cruise ships.

On Wednesday, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP government for allowing the sale of liquor, saying there is a “deep relation” between alcohol consumption and crime.

The leader said that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should start selling liquor from its offices.
