Kashmir and Jammu Two cooperatives department initiatives were introduced by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday with the goal of enhancing the effectiveness of cooperative societies and addressing the needs of the rural economy. The creation of a diploma programme in cooperative management and the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the departments of cooperatives and tribal affairs, among other steps, would develop the cooperative sector and improve the quality of life for the tribal community, according to him. The “sahkar se samriddhi” vision of the prime minister will direct social and economic change and offer crucial assistance for the expansion of the agricultural sector. The new efforts are intended to increase cooperative efficiency and satisfy the needs of the rural economy, according to the lieutenant governor.
