Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut confirmed on Saturday that she had tested positive for the coronavirus. She shared her diagnosis on Instagram.
The ‘Fashion’ star, who was permanently banned from Twitter on Tuesday for repeated violations of rules, is currently in self-isolation at home. She said she had been feeling tired and weak for past few days, and was experiencing slight burning sensation in her eyes.
Terming COVID-19 a “small time flu”, Ranaut said she is determined to “destroy” the virus from her body.
Kangana also urged people to not be scared of coronavirus and not let it overpower them. She wrote, “People please don’t give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more, come let’s destroy this Covid -19 it is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people. Har Har Mahadev 🙏”
On the work front, she was last seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s sports drama Panga.
