JettWings Airways to operate 12 sectors under the UDAN RCS 5.3

JettWings Airways, the newest entrant to the Indian Aviation sector, emerged as the largest private operator that was awarded12 sectors under the UDAN RCS 5.3 to serve airports in the Northeast, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar amidst fierce competition from Alliance Air. Jettwings Airways under the UDAN RCS 5.3 routes will connect the airports at Guwahati, Pakyong, Cooch Behar, Kushinagar, Gaya, Bareilly, Kanpur and Agra.

JettWings Airways, the Northeast region’s first airline, will begin operating modern deck turbo fan regional jets on commercial routes this year. The company plans to acquire and operate 42 aircrafts within five years. Participating in UDAN 5.3, JettWings aims to provide efficient, reliable, and comfortable air travel services on C1 and C2 RCS routes, enhancing regional connectivity, promoting economic development, and enriching passenger experiences. Speaking to the Press, Sanjay Aditya Singh, CEO &MD of Jettwings Airways said,“The UDAN RCS 5.3 will currently help us in connecting significant locations that are tourism and religious hotspots in the Northeast,West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.”
