Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys, today announced the launch of the fourth edition of the Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, reinforcing its commitment to support social innovators across India with a total prize pool of INR 2 crore. The awards recognize individuals, teams, NGOs, and social enterprises developing technology-based solutions in education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability to create large-scale social impact.
Submissions will be accepted from April 24 to June 15, 2025, inviting Indian citizens aged 18 and above to submit fully functioning prototypes or completed projects via video on the Aarohan Awards website. Winners will receive up to INR 50 lakh each, with evaluation based on real-world problem-solving, solution effectiveness, scalability, and founder dedication. Sumit Virmani, Trustee of Infosys Foundation, emphasized the Foundation’s mission to amplify human potential by encouraging innovation that addresses critical social challenges.
The Aarohan Awards present a valuable opportunity for local social entrepreneurs to gain national recognition and funding.
