Indus Towers Limited has installed three new mobile towers in Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh. One of the mobile towers installed at the Office of the Superintendent of Police was inaugurated by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Arunachal Pradesh, Shri. Chowna Mein on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, AzaadiKaAmritMahotsav. The other two mobile towers are at Government Primary School Simulbariand at the Mini-Secretariat in Namsai.
Addressing the gathering, the Dy CM highlighted the importance of mobile tower infrastructure in connecting people. The newly installed towers will enable mobile connectivity and internet services for thousands living in the Namsai area. At the inauguration, ShriChowna Mein, Hon’bleDyCM, Government of Arunachal Pradesh said, “The telecom towers will improve the lives of everyone they touch in Namsai by bringing them into the fold of the new digital economy and digital ecosystems as they will open new vistas of opportunities for the communities.” Indus Towers currently has 6043 sites in North East India which enable connectivity for over 36 million people residing in the seven states.
