IndiGo boosts Northeast connectivity with eight new winter flights

IndiGo has announced eight new flights in its winter schedule, aimed at enhancing accessibility across Northeast India. The schedule introduces tri-weekly flights connecting Agartala to Dibrugarh, starting October 29, 2024, and daily flights linking Guwahati to both Dimapur and Ahmedabad from December 10. The Kolkata-Bangkok route will also increase to four flights weekly, beginning November 24, 2024, catering to the high demand for international travel.

According to IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, Vinay Malhotra, these flights are part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to strengthening regional connectivity. “This winter expansion will foster economic growth, tourism, and cultural exchange while maintaining our promise of affordable fares and on-time service,” he noted.

With routes spanning cities like Agartala, Dibrugarh, Guwahati and beyond, IndiGo’s latest schedule supports both leisure and business travelers, reinforcing the airline’s connectivity in East and Northeast India. Bookings are open on IndiGo’s website and app.
