India has recorded 2,208 new infections of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of Covid cases to 4,46,49,088.
According to the data of health ministry, the death toll stood at 5,28,999 with 12 Covid-related deaths on Friday.
Active cases hold for 0.05 percent of total infections at 19,398.
