Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced the opening of a new Vivanta hotel in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. The hotel, situated at a height of 10,000 feet, offers panoramic views of the scenic Tawang Valley and the majestic Himalayas.
Tawang, a sanctuary in Vivanta Arunachal Pradesh, is a sanctuary located near the Tawang Monastery. The 80 rooms and suites offer stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The signature all-day diner, Mynt, serves culinary delights, while the chic lounge bar Wink offers exotic cocktails. The deli, Swirl, offers the finest confectionery. Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL said, “This reaffirms IHCL’s unwavering commitment to North East India as it continues its pioneering efforts in putting emerging destinations on the global tourism map including Shillong, Gangtok and now Tawang. It will also serve as a platform to unveil the state’s unexplored beauty and distinctive cultural heritage.”
