IHCL expands its footprint with the launch of TAJ Guras Kutir Resort & Spa, Gangtok

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has opened Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa in Gangtok, offering panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga. The resort, nestled in Sikkimis’ alpine landscape, was attended by Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang, and other dignitaries during a grand inauguration ceremony.

The 69-key resort sprawling over 14 acres is a serene hide out. The architecture emphasizes a strong sense of the indigenous culture and the resort is a blend of Sikkimese aesthetics and contemporary design. Taj Guras Kutir Resort & Spa offers spacious rooms with unique Thangka paintings, a forest-themed diner, Soi & Sake, and Guras Lounge & Bar.

The resort also features banquet and meeting rooms for social events and corporate gatherings. J Wellness Circle offers holistic practices rooted in ancient Indian wellness traditions. For entertainment, the resort has a dedicated games room. The resort’s lavishly designed spaces provide a picturesque outdoor experience.
